More off the shelves of shame.
Some large (about 40mm tall) Robots.
Now ready to be two Galactic Heroes teams.

My team led by Captain Bienvenue can take those tin cans easily if there is loot to be had.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Like the Sci-Fi stuff! I assume the spheres are beads meant being used as droids?  :)

Not beads, but the outer casings of some broken fairy lights. IDTAA (I Don't Throw Anything Away.  :D)

Two nightlights. Bought them in a sale years ago.
They do not work, I don't think they ever did.  :D
However, they will do nicely (I thought) for Sci-Fi,
well they are Death Stars.  lol

Not nearly big enough to use as Death Stars, besides,
who needs TWO Death Stars? ??? ??? ???

But with a paint job & some touching up, they will do
fine as some kind of Planetary defence in a space
ship game.

Building a 2nd Death Star when the 1st one blew up so spectacularly would be ridiculous.  I mean, who would possibly do that, right?

I played Star Wars Rebellion too much on the PC back in the day, I would have fleets of Death Stars roaming about crushing the rebel scum...

Blowing up planets is stupid.  Ships and planetary defense bases sure.  Death Stars are useful unless their production points would create numerous more versatile and useful cruisers and battleships.  Which they would.

That's wargamers for you. need to crack an egg? Grab a sledge hammer. lol
I umpired a Sci-Fi game where the Space Marine player, having blown open the first four doors in the Space Station,
asked if the fifth (double) doors were locked?  I replied that I never said ANY of the doors were locked.  lol

WW2, don't build the Maus or Ratte, but more Tigers & Panthers.
A friend of mine, when we went to see the then new Star Wars film, was much annoyed by the (fatal) delay in firing the Death Star.

More from the Shelves of Shame.
Some plastic knights. Good for skirmishes etc.

Great work on the figures, the heraldry looks good! And the backdrop and rocks combination looks great in the photos.

More good work there Pete, the elves also look good - and quite a bit of room generated on the "to be painted" shelf :-)
