Thank you again for having made it possible, Elk! I'm very happy to have joined in and made it all the way through without skipping a week. Funny how just buckling down and getting paint on some of the lead mountain can give such a boost in hobby engagement. I feel invincible! Maybe I'll do a "paint two for every one I buy" thing in the coming year :O

It's week ten already? It has flown by so very quickly for me this year. Must just be getting old.  :)

I personally think it's a been worth the effort. I've very much enjoyed seeing the entries come and and the little chats with the competitors.

I think it was worth it too, thanks for stepping up to the plate and putting in the effort. Been some great entries this time. The fact that for me the time has sped by isn't really good or bad, it just is.

Even in last place, I'm very happy that I took part.  I got a ton painted compared to what I usually manage to finish, and I'm happy with the majority of them.  Hopefully the challenge will continue again next year.  I definitely would like to take part in another.

Big thanks to the organizer, and big thanks to the competitors.  It was awesome to see the variety of entries and the amazing skills of the folks on this forum.

Hey, everyone picked up a win in the tournament and the points are pretty tight throughout. The LPL is hard work so just entering and finishing is an achievement.

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I've left the final round polls open till Sunday morning. I'll shut them down then and tally the final points before announcing the results.

Likewise big thanks to Elk for running it.

Was glad it went ahead again, and hopefully there will be a League 14 too, always helps me get painting done and this year has got me out of a bit of morass with my ongoing projects, my C16th project is back up to full steam again, and every year the great photos of great figures is a bit more inspiration for me.

The LPL is always inspirational to me even when I can't participate.  Glad this year I was able too as I really cleared out the backlog on the painting table.  My only problem with the LPL is all the cool figures I didn't know I needed until I saw them are here.  ;D

Thanks again Elk, I appreciate you taking the LPL on. I always rely on it to get certain miniatures painted that I've had lingering for years!

I used it to finish some current projects (Star Wars Legion) and clean up some old figures who had never been finished (the Grenadier Headless Horseman and the last group of Pulp Figures Rocket Troopers).  Some of these had been languishing for decades. The Horseman was one of my first ever purchases through a mail-order catalog in 1980-something.  o_o

I've added a thread on my favourite entries over the course of the tournament.
