Flippin awesome work, do you have a specific commander or banner in mind for them?

Been thinking the very same Stuart, an Ordonnance company flag will fit rest of my army. Not sure whether to add a captain type figure or have all bowmen?

Not sure whether to add a captain type figure or have all bowmen?

Considering the amount of suitable figures (not to mention possibilities for conversions), is there any valid excuse for not including a captain to command the lot?

Greifbringer -
Only that all my other units don't have them - and I'm getting middle-aged and stuck in my ways!  :)
I have done an easy conversion, so will paint him up and see if he fits in when I get to the basing stage...
Cheers
Simon.

Those did turn out excellently. Looking forward to seeing them all based up with their commander :)

Thanks

They look fabulous. I keep coming back to your blog, just to enjoy your incredibly dedicated work on this period project. Haven't left a comment for quite some time, which is an awful habit. Sorry. Well, let's just say, thanks for sharing! :)

Fantastic work! Looking amazing all round!

Silly question but what's the base body you used on the standard bearer?

The standard bearer is a metal Perry command figure (EA33), with head swap of Perry plastic one from Mercenaries Box.
The head of the metal one reminds me of Wallace and Gromit for some reason!!
