As its an inflatable or wooden armoured car I think it is right that its scale should be out. Like the paint job it makes it 'fake'

The Dinky Daimler is 1/60 scale Mark.  I have the Bandai model in 1/48 and the size difference is really noticeable so don't know how successful trying to fudge it might be...obviously the Warlord 1/56 one would be a better bet.
Have a look here for a comparison of the Dinky and the Warlord vehicles.

I've put the Daimler's on hold for now as I've decided it's time for a castle. So that's where my spare time is going at the moment.
I've just about managed to finish the Naafi set that Simon and Mick sent me this week.
Here's a couple of pics of todays progress.( painting in the garden wasn't as much fun as I'd expected way hotter than predicted.   ;D) I've added a couple with the van roof off. So you can get an idea of how much light still gets in even with the roof on , also so you can see how daft the interior is.
I'll post a couple more once the soilders with tea mugs are painted(inside  ;))

Cheers everyone,

Here's the completed set . I'll try and fit in some painting the other vehicles that still need doing over the coming week.

If it's of any interest.
The Naafi van has proved a contrary thing to cast .So I've had to go back and make a adjustment which means it'll release from the mould much more happily.(which will get posted to Simon and Mick on Monday.)
Simon informs me that the mould for the one I've painted will cast a couple more as it's scares easily. So how ever many it cast will be that. In short it'll be an exceptionally rare
Limited run (I strongly doubt there'll be even a dozen including my copy). As the new version will be the production version.
In short it may be possible to snare a one on a first come first served basis.
From the outside once it's painted the visible difference will be a support tray for the spare wheel on the production model.

Ordered mine at lunchtime today so slightly ahead of the curve. Don’t mind admitting that I did not want to miss out on this.

Please get tne troops having a brew up to the  lads ASAP ..... they are terrific figures.  Keep up the good work. 👍
