Yep.
along with the Airborne 6 pndr ,Howitzers, Heavy weapons, supply dumps, drop canisters, parachutes, drop zone markers. Plus a fair chunk of tech work on an intermediate modernisation of Robbie Bakers original Para miniatures.

It's been a while since I've had the time to update my WW2 thread. As I've been insanely busy with a combination of work, and a several big chunks of life . But this afternoon I managed to steal a little time for me,and coloured in my Early Morris C8. I've still to touch up the driver as I normally add the final highlights once the driver is in place

daft question - model looks great, but should the tyres protrude beyond the bodywork/fenders?

That would be a combination of issues.
The rear wheel is half a mil out .Mainly I got sidetracked by answering the door and sods law. It's  misalignment in the gluing I put it down to answer the door thinking it had dried, and it slipped under it's own weight. Then of course it chose to be the world's strongest super glue bond. But doesn't it always when you make a mistake  ;D
But the front wheel is slightly turned.I prefer to have the steering turned slightly on my vehicles. It just takes away some of the monotony of of a static model.
Having said all that these are the bigger wheels so they sail close to the edges of the wheel arches.
It's a weird on the very Early C8 it was nothing more than a beefed up CS8 . Before they went for a full cab and separate bed. I made it simply because it is a halfway house that can be used as a CS8 or as a C8. That way you don't need two models of pretty much the same thing a 15cwt.

After a week of really Bizarre events which ment I've achieved beggar all,and been absolutely nowhere. To night I'm saying time out. ;D

So I've started an experiment in rescaling a HO Hornby Dublo Railway station, without doing anything complicated ( Purely a sat on the sofa project.
Why a Hornby Dublo station? Three reasons really. It's diecast and won't warp. The Platform is just over 20mm high. Which is the same as Sarissa's description of their platform height. So if I'm not struck on the conversion after its done. I'll still have a platform useable for 28mm figures.
Thirdly they're relatively cheep in comparison to MDF railway stations .This one cost £10 including p&p( it is missing a platform wall section.) Which means at the very least I've a three piece platform for a tenner .
I've still a few details to add which will hide the joints on the doors, and detract from how narrow the platform doors are.( There is enough room to cut out the original doors. However it's a only a test piece.)

Diecast scenery? Must weigh a bloody ton!  :o

Looks like a nice structure though.
