I'll take your word for it. You'll had to talk to 'MadMick' ,As I only make them. I don't sell them. This really is just my hobby thread .Im literally building every thing from scratch (with the odd exception then I'm converting and tweaking to the point I'd might as well have started from scratch.)which includes vehicles and figures .Simply because for once I'd actually like to have a use for the things I make.

Mac,
It's a doddle to include fake emplacements and positions.
The simplest way is to insist on including a spotter team /or command stand /unit (depending on your rules system of preference.)as long as it has LOS on a target the dummy position can live fire. This only stops with base to base contact.
At the start of the game all positions have 'real' weapon systems in place.
Dummy guns and dummy infantry replace the actual gun model when base to base contact is made with the position.
Believe me its quite frustrating when you get there and your opponent swaps the figures out for dummies.
You can also do the reverse and have dummy positions already on the table at the start of a game. Then have them as camouflage for a real position.
Basic rule for a dummy position to fire one real gun must miss a turn(represents indirect fire from real gun to cover the dummy positions arc of fire.)
(( note . You don't  declare the real gun isn't firing that turn. )
Basic rule .Spotter = no modifiers to fire from fake position
Its fire is treaded as fire from a real gun for the sake of the rules .Fake position takes time to set up and ranges and areas of fire are  predetermined and calculated.))
Spotter dies no fire can come from the fake position.
Theres much more depth you can add.
But in  loose terms. You game play chagnes when you realize its not a straight forward push for the other side of the table.
Charge a fake position and you've lost turns and the advantage as your big hitters are now in the wrong place to have any impact on the outcome.plus you could find you've been drawn in to a kill box charging a fake position .
You'll find your self using recce units to probe positions.
Rather than charging forward, and using depth in defense.
It's an oversimplification I know but it should give a starting point for your own in house rules.
The reason I like to use them is I hate games where a recce leads to you suddenly knowing the full strength of a position because someones rolled some dice.
The worst I've seen was at my local club. One jeep roles into a village and suddenly a full company is discovered because of dice rolls .
Nope- initiative roll for the jeep and for the defender.Defender wins automatic hit -roll to wound.(you lose your recce team but now know its occupied by hostiles as your no longer have contact because hostlies slotted them.)
Jeep wins roll.  (if movement allows either turns left or right or reverses. Doesn't enter further into the village)
Represents being aware of hostiles and bugging out. Both sides can engage in a fire fight as your rules allow .Defender can only use force's with LOS on the jeeps movement after the jeeps win/move.Because they ain't staying put.

I'm finding ways to work with them. The Naafi tea wagon uses one of the wheels with a miscast edge
The inside will be pretty easy to paint. As the stove hood is a separate piece.Plus there's a milk jug ,stacked pans ,tea pot(tea urn built into the van body),and no Naafi is complete without bacon baps)
