Nice pulpy rocket from Michael's...
« on: September 01, 2009, 09:34:11 AM »
TMP had a thread about a very nice looking wooden rocket, available from Michael's. Would anyone less than 2000 miles away from the closest one be willing to pick up a couple of these and mail 'em over here (Provided they don't weigh zillions of pounds, of course)?

There was even a picture of the thing :

Cheers,
Marko

I found this at Michael's yesterday.  It was $8 not $5, and in the bird-house section.  It was made out of balsa wood too, and really didn't look worth the $8.  If it actually were $5, that'd be about what I'd be willing to pay, but no more.

Marko,

I'll have a look at Michael's for you. I beleive I still owe you something similar since Denny's cups didn't work out.

Michaels usually puts a 40% dicount coupon in the paper almost every week.  That would bring the price down to $4.80.

If you don't have access to the paper, you can check with Hobby Lobby to see if they have their online coupon available.  Michaels will accept competitor's coupons for items that both stores carry.

Here is a link to this week's Hobby Lobby Coupon.
