Hessian Grenadiers from thos Perry boys. Based for multi systems.
Bit of an experiment as after 40 years I'm fed up with basing.
The vast majority of the shine on the base is camera flash.

Those are rather nice. Inspiring, but the AWI stuff is well down the queue. Hmmmm.

:-*Some more great eye candy from you Redzeb....but not sure if I like the clear bases. I have experimented using clear bases for Star Wars Legion figs (I don't like ground work for my Troopers!) as well as some Pirates. Yet, even I am still not sure if I like the idea of floating figs on clear plastic. Plus, the clear plastic isn't always that cheap!

Clear bases aren't for me (I think they lend themselves better to sci-fi/fantasy figures where the "ground" is more likely to change dramatically), but if it works for you, go with it. The painting, however, is excellent.

Fantastic figures, painting superb as usual.
Bases don't do it for me, but it's just personal taste in the end.

Superb painting. I also don’t like the clear bases. They might work better if just the feet of the figures were glued to the base but that would be a faf cutting the metal bases away
