New cloth - more or less
« on: October 01, 2019, 11:36:53 AM »
Frank opinions are requested about the mottling effects on the cloth used for today's Huns and Romans set-to. I'm not sure whether I like the effect or not.

I like it (although I would have used a slightly lighter green)

Chuckle - I actually dusted extra brown over the green to reduce the brightness!

I think the mottling works...just maybe tone it back a notch

Huns vs Romans, so ... Central Europe?  Maybe a little more green and a little less dark brown. North Africa? Just leave it as is I think.

I use it for most of my ancients, the crusades, WNA, colonials, and WW II north Africa; the green cloth for pike and shot and for SYW, and for ancient Chinese.

Much prefer mottled effect to monotone. Looks a tad yellow to me, but then my digital camera plays with the color of my cloth too.

With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss
