Well, Abe and co are a tour de force of staging and painting Matt. Amazing 

Some very nice looking figures in the Von Carstein pic. Just a little bit harder to see the detail. But the story and the atmosphere is all there.

Nice mood and staging, does that have some of the new Fireforge zombies? I like the position of the guy aiming right, seems like an ambush is imminent.

Thank you, gentlemen!
Seeing my effort contrasted with Mathias' excellence like this is undeniably a compelling argument to keep working on taking clear and focused pictures for upcoming rounds.

All the miniatures are from the recent Fireforge kickstarter. The vampire started unlife as a skeleton hero of some sort. The necromancer and zombie are untouched stock minis. The human dregs are all built from the "Living Dead Peasants" plus archer arms from the Fireforge Northmen, Frostgrave heads and bags n stuff from various sources. I'm a huge fan of the living dead peasants - I expect I'll be building henchmen for both Witch Hunter and Possessed warbands out of 'em before too long.
