As usual, you put my efforts to shame  >:(

Great set of figures -  can't wait to see the shields!

Hopefully they will get a chance to fight soon  :)

Nice project, Alex! I see that you paint the shields separately. What will you use to glue them firmly to the figures? As there is no bonding of two metal parts, but only layers of colour or varnish glued together, will that stand the usual handling while gaming?

Alex,
I've just noticed the hornblower chap (back row, far right). The paintwork on his horn looks very impressive - can you post a close-up pic please?

I fancy painting mine with some sort of decoration and I'd like to see how you did yours  :D

Great to see you back painting Prof, you have been missed!

Very nice Azande, big fan of the flesh tone you have achieved.

A bit of green stuff (really little bit) and glue. It's not bombproof but it'll do for gaming.

All these images of great African figures makes me glad I have more on the way (made a nice BIG Copplestone order last week). I won't have anything as nice as this, but at least I will have a decent size force.

Thanks for sharing Alex!
