Trojans for TRIBAL
« on: October 05, 2019, 08:41:31 AM »
I played a few games of tribal lately and like the rules.
I think they are really fun and easy enough to pick up.

And with just round about 20 minis per side I could get a warband quick on the table.
A friend suggested that we go to the chariot era...

Searching my leadpile I came across some old dusted foundry blisters. Enough for a small force...:)

So hI splashed a litte paint in them and got the bases going.
Still need some more highlights...so pretty WIP:

The chariot is just there for coolness and transport for the leader.

Cheers,
Don

Awesome. Looking great.
I've got the Tribal rules. Look fun. Another game I've got to get on the go...but there are just so many games!

Good to have you back. And what a topic to boot with. :)
For me "Tribal" ranks top in rules representing archaic warfare. If I ever make it to Berlin, I shall bring my Mycenaeans.

Thanx gents....;)

@Terrain

Yes, I am in the middle of something...
Here are a few WIPs.

First of is a little luster of houses. Extra small size for skirmish games.

Few add ons like wodden doors...

And with some filler and sand on it.

In the drying time I started building a temple.
First task was to find some way to build the coloums. Luckily I opend a few wine bottles in the last days....:)

Then I glued some styrofoam on a base.

And thats how the tempel looks at the moment without any paint....;)

Should try to splash some paint on it in th the forseeable future...:D

Cheers,
Don

@Don: the game uses normal deck of poker cards and d6, right?
