AWuGrave
« on: October 07, 2019, 05:06:10 PM »
I recently forced one of my friends to play at last some Fg, although Ive painted some models for a long time now, so I decided to make my a thread here with my minis and hopefully more of the games.

As what I painted recently (and play with mostly is in the LPL I will start with older stuff:

My first FG minis - AWixus the Smmoner (Lich wizard) and Cult henchmen - cult line is mu favourite metal line. 2017

And second set 2018 (with some cross over)

Those were my Frostgrave themed LPL entries from two previous edition (I am making Frostgrave themed entry each year :)

Thats why they are so well posed :)

Really simple treasures thanks to Rendra bases and some modeling junk (+one piece of Kinder surprise from the 90 ties).

The Renedra bases are great, aren't they? I wish they'd produce them in black plastic as well as in grey. Sooo easy to do something with them.

Archeological expedition of Awixus beforeentering  the not-so-Frozen city (we dont have space for specifically frozen terrain so were torn between Sandgrave - but we are stuck with terrainbuilding and Junglegrave, but thanks to new Warcry Terrain we are almost-Frost-graving :>

Archer, Crossbowmen, Barbarian (sadly a total hipster and wimp so far) pair of thug.. diggers  and three thiev.. eee.. archaeologist

Sadly mighty unpainted but Ive managed to finish them for this slightly overlighted shot for last LPL round

But after first game of Fountain and second in the Mausoleum I am rich in money and thrilling experience but only 4 members of the original cast survived.

This is the brave expedition today waiting for third chance for knowledge, riches and power..

From the left Crossbowman, ManAtArms, replacement Digger (after previous ones were chopped to pieces and chowed by a bear) and Bowmen, Tracker and Treasure huntin heiress of the craftingbeer industry Lara Kraft, Awixus with his Staff of power 3 (Did I mention I lost all my men but escape with wast riches ? :) and his every time falling (this time to a mere skeleton)  apprentice, last living thiev.. Archaeologist , Wimpy Barbarian (missed previous game due to beard injury) and newcomer Knight that I plan on possessing next game as I used my wast riches to buy a grimoire)

Great warband.  Where is the Thief from... I might have to get myself one of those.

Do you mean the one between the wizard and barbarian? Seems to be the Cultist model.

Thanks!

All models (apart from treasure huntress - she is from old Warmachine RPG line) are stock Frostgrave.
I have quite a few fantasy models I could use but I like North star FG models a lot.

Metal Thieve is from Hipster Barbarian blister - Cultist thief and barbarian.

IMHO Cultist line of metals is coolest one.

There is something with that miniature which reminds me of James Hetfield.
