Thanks for the points Fifteens - but I fear I need a lot more animals. 105 you say?!?!

I made some flags for the game which I thought some others may want to use. The FFL flag is probably not historically correct but was fine for what we needed.

They certainly would.

Great job Frank. :)

So I fully intended to post up pictures of the actual game in October 2019. Well I woke up this morning and it's February 2020!!!  :o

Better late than never, no?

The best pic I have of the entire table on the day.

Pre-game shenanigans. We gave the 8 players about 15 minutes to openly bribe, lie, threaten and manipulate each other.

And bribe, lie, manipulate and threaten they DID.

The Germans arrived via steamers. The lovely steamers were made by a mate at the Rook & Raven especially for the game.

The Belgians in their camp.

The horde of fierce Watumbi.

The Ruga-Ruga started in the long elephant grass and the Baluchi along the path to the Tembe.

The Germans land and train the gatling gun on the tembe.

The FFL march to the tembe in good order.

The Watumbe rush the tembe and free some of their fellow tribesmen.

Belgians on the march. What are those baboons playing with?

The Ruga-Ruga move to plunder the native village.

The British support the Watumbi assault on the tembe.

A meeting of the Belgians and the FFL - tension was high.

Rhino!!!

The roof, the roof...

Rare African flaming goats.

What exactly is happening here? Your guess is as good as mine.

Complete chaos.

The player who achieved the most victory points on each day got a trophy.

A complete photo dump is on my blog here http://adventuresinlead.blogspot.com/2020/02/petite-race-for-africa-photo-dump.html

Well, at least you had a nice, LOONG nap!  lol

Is that rhino flatulence or is that brute putting on his after burners?   :o :D

Very nice.  Thanks for sharing.  Oh, and just what are those baboons playing with?  I can't quite make it out - some sort of small antelope like a dik-dik perhaps?
