Phyllion’s Marvel X-Men
« on: October 19, 2019, 08:48:03 AM »
Fed by nostalgia for the 90s X-Men cartoon that I grew up with, I’ve been painting up some X-Men and Mutants. Mostly the short-lived 35mm Knight Models Marvel range, and suitable stand-ins.

I add one every now and then, nice to break up my more sensible projects and get some bright colours out - yay spandex!  :D

Slowly adding to this collection with Juggernaut. He’s a Heroclix as Knight never released one.

Nice work.

Juggernaut is always slightly tainted by his portrayal by Vinnie Jones.

More, as a colourful change from painting historicals: Professor X and Jubilee. Pleased with the Prof, but I made a bit of a hash of Jubilee’s face.

Nice.

I wish I could paint faces as good as Jubilee.

Everything looks great!  Your painting is phenomenal.

Where are the Beast, Jubilee, Mystique and Prof from?  I'm trying to expand my KM collection and am having a hard time finding other miniatures that scale well with them.
Any luck sourcing Psylocke or Kitty Pride?

Thanks.

I’ve seen someone do a decent Kitty Pride conversion on some Facebook group out of a Hasslefree minis female mercenary type.
