I've always loved the War Gods sculpts. A very inventive idea and one that was realized very well. I bought my first set of Aegyptus models while living in Baltimore back in 2001.
Here are some Trojans from the Olympus range. So far I've loved everything I've seen from this line. It would be nice to do a big Trojan War game eventually. I have some Macedonians already but need to get a couple of the front parts for my chariots.
Anyway here are the pics:
The whole mess of them.
The command group. Most of the figures have details cast on the shield. The banner does not so you can paint on that what you want. I went with the same horse symbol as the rest of the army so they can be unified.
Aeneas himself.
A unit champion,
The archers.
The War Altar.
Aeneas and some of his pals.
A group of Peltasts.
A phalanx of Spearmen.
A hero and his chariot
The man pulling the strings.
The crazy thing is that I have a Trojan War set already. I have the Old Glory figures including a little over 20 chariots to do both sides. Still these are nice figures. Given the cost difference I probably won't plan to do things on that scale, probably just a couple or three units of spearmen a side with a unit of archers and two units of peltasts as well as maybe 4 or 5 chariots a side plus the heroes, and Gods, of course.
