Like minis games, but hate people?  Maybe try a solo game, like "Five Parsecs from Home".  Here, I'll show you how!

A band of sci-fi ruffians is sent on a mission to teach some tax-dodging punks a lesson.

Great video, Ludanto. Well explained and I love the animations for the kills.

Thanks!  I had a little trouble with this one for some reason, but I guess it turned out OK. :)

Better than OK, I would say. It was one of the better tutorial game play videos I've ever seen.

Thanks for sharing, Ludanto. That was really great.
Love the terrain too.
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Oh, curse you!  I went and bought the rules, and rolled up my first crew tonight.  Haven't played a mission yet, but the crew generation was great!  Invented a whole story to go with them.

Looking forward to discovering what Nemo and the crew get up to.  :)

That was a fun video.  Rules seem nice and simple but with plenty of flavor.   :)

For solo play, 5 Parsecs have really been the perfect mix of not being too chunky (so the action moves along) and still offering some fun twists and elements to game play so that each game has some story to it. The game isn't like looking out your window to watch five guys shoot seven guys, where you wonder why they are there, what caused the issue etc. 5 Parsecs creates enough story so that you get an idea of what is on the line and what happens once the smoke clears. The extra flair really makes all the difference for solo play, in my mind. Without it the play becomes rather predictable. Too much plot armor for the heroes, etc.

For what it's worth, I hear that the author is looking to expand the game a bit, rolling in the loot missions a la 5P: Salvage Crew, and some other updates.  So, that's something to look forward to. :)
