SAGA Age of Magic: using forces from other "universes"?
« on: November 03, 2019, 03:11:42 PM »
SAGA Age of Magic has suddenly become locally popular, so I am now wondering whether it would be feasible to use a force (and battleboard) from another SAGA "universe", plus a sorceror from Age of Magic, as a mostly mundane force, apart from the sorceror? Yes, I suppose that I could just use an Age of Magic battleboard, but it would be nice to retain some of the flavour of, for example, steppe nomads or Huns, albeit with a slight addition of magic.

I'd say no, at least not if you want some amount of balance. AoM battleboards lack Combat Pool, while regular BBs lack Magic Pool and the balance is different. Adding magic on top of other boards would also have some unforseen consequences.
