My Pulp LPL entries in close-up
« on: July 10, 2009, 01:49:53 AM »
I have tried to take some close up pictures of my LPL entries. Quite scary some of the poor painting the close up highlights.

My film crew for pulp games

Those look good - I'm taking notes on your flesh tones and techniques there, because my faces almost always seem to be too flat!

Who makes the FFL figures? (The chaps with guns are French Foriegn Legion, right?)

Wow, those are brave shots. I never take my shots this close. Personally I would take them from a bit farther away to get a better overview. That said I really liked your entries. The Pulp film crew was a great one in that round.

I don't think most miniatures presented in the LPL bnefit *that* much from closeups.  With a trend towards putting them among scenery I think letting them stand out on their own with perhaps a tad more zoom is what's asked for.
