My undead so far
«

I wanted to do my LotR Warriors of the Dead figures different than the ghostly ones GW does. I found some inspiration, and here are some pictures. I think these would look better in a less bright setting.

There are several figures here combined into an army I'm preparing for Age of Fantasy by OnePageRules.
I realized I forgot the shields of the Morgul Knights. I will add those, as well as some shields for the few I didn't have enough to do before.

Thanks.
I'll try to put an image into the post. My big complaint with Google Photos is that they don't easily let me put pictures into forums with a link.

Nice to see an alternative to 'ghostly'.

Thanks. Here were my inspirations, both of which did better than I did:
from:
https://paintsngluenrocknroll.blogspot.com/2017/11/xvi-more-undead.html
from:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MiddleEarthMiniatures/comments/9xzciv/saturday_speedpaint_warriors_of_the_dead_as_black/
One of them mentioned straightening the figures a bit, since several are really leaning forward. My next batch had several straightened, just by leaning them backwards on the base and wedging plastic under the forward foot. I don't know what my inspirations did.
