Need help - diner waitresses and Mel

So, this year's theme at Enfilade is "Best Defense".

The first thing that came to mind, for me, is a quote from a comedy routine.

"The best defense, is a good offense.  You know who said that?  Mel, the cook on Alice."

I am now looking for 70's era waitresses, as I am trying to plan out a Zombie horror game with martial arts students (learning Tai Kwan Leap, of course) as one group, and Mel and his waitresses in another group, but I can't find Mel or the waitresses. 

Any ideas out there?

If you can't find anything in metal (I can't think of any), there is a Horroclix figure named 'Jane Cleaver' that might work, another named 'Candy Striper'.

Check out KillerB's new waitress and short order cook.  The waitress is on skates but they could be cut off. Recreational Conflict (Lead Bones) has a barista with tray that could work.  The KillerB's figures are found in the Invasion X section also at Recreational Conflict in the US.
I almost forgot that Ainsty Castings AGGRO110 Sid and Nancy are also cook and waitress

Unfortunately, Dr, the candy striper is practically 35mm - I have several from when I ordered them for a different project, and they are more of the scale of Star Wars Legion than 28mm. 

S J, those have promise!  I wish the gentleman had a Mel-style hat, but this is as close as I have been able to find so far.

that Mel style hat looks like a ww2 commando cap. Warlord games probably have a plastic sprue with heads like that.

North Star also have some sailor figures that could be used. Hasslefree have a figure in tshirt and pants with hands on hips that would only need the cap to make suitable.

Zombicide is still available, though it is going through another Kickstarter to rerelease the original game in a new version with new miniature sculpts.
