Whilst the Union Brigade (and, I understand, the Household Brigade to a lesser extent) suffered heavy casualties, is there any evidence, especially from the French side, as to how much damage they inflicted in their charge - not just on D'Erlon's I Corps, but on the grand battery south of La Haye Sainte and any other formations that got in their way?
