Latest project is a Bar & Grill, so the Jones brothers have a place to eat and drink because niether one can cook worth a darn.

Front and Back.

The beginnings of a greasy kitchen

The Bar area.

And a spot to sit and enjoy a meal.

These pictures were taken a day or so back, more details have been added and now it's just waiting to be painted.

Do you “seal” the surfaces with Mod Podge (or similar) before painting?

No, I seal it all with a clear matte finish after it's all finish.

If I feel like I need to coat it, I use clear water base Polycrylic from Minwax it drys fast and very thin with out build up that you might get with Mod Podge and because it drys so thin less likely to see brush strokes

No, you have to get the "Water Base" Min wax Polycrilic, the stuff is like painting with milk, we have furniture that we have refinished with it and has stayed clear for years, like to use it on some of my minis that I feel will get a lot of use, just one lite coat then do a matte finish afterwards.

Your (and CookAndrewB's) terrain style is quite different from mine. You are working with playable interiors, while I'm geared toward set dressing. Your style makes me think of X-Com, while mine is more Red Alert 2 (or perhaps Desperados - Wanted dead or alive).

That is a great restaurant! Wonderful playable interior. Your cabinets and such really look terrific. I gotta get back to finishing the interior details of some of my buildings. I have a 28mm post apoc game set up and waiting for me to play, and then I am kicking back over to 15mm sci-fi. I clearly need to catch up to you!

Thank You to all of you, I just started to paint it last night, I hope to have it done soon.

Burmmie, thanks for the idea, I have a Night Club of sorts all planned out, now I'll have to go back and add a stage, of course the building's construction will be different the the container ones.

But next up is a general store, one has to have a place to by their supplies from!
