Eureka, D&P and Mongrel Moderns
« on: July 11, 2009, 07:03:32 AM »
Not sure if this has been asked before, but how do the figs from Eureka (modern German infantry), D&P's French and Italian forces and Mongrel's Afghan fare all size up? Pretty close? I'd assume they're on the smaller side of 28's compared to TAG or Black Scorpion for sure.

Dont have the Mongrel, but here is a comparison photo of Devil Dog Delta, TAG SAS, D&P Italian, and Eureka German

Excuse the photo quality, took it quick without proper lighting, and they are just undercoated, but you can see size is very close with TAG D&P and Eureka. The D&P looks bigger, but has thicker integral base and is standing bit taller. DD is bigger but not hugely.

I know Col Sotne has all the above so should be along to comment. I would think Mongrel would fit well with Eureka

actually i don't have the D &P stuff yet, or any modern germans, the NATO troops are still on a planning stage  :(

Mongrel russians and and eureka NBC ones look good together so i assume the germans would aswell
one of the d&P sets are by paul hicks iirc so should look good next to mongrel

the more manufacturers you mix, the better, it smooths out the differences imo :)

Thanks guys, that helps a fair bit. I was thinking that too Col, that Paul Hicks had done one of the D&P sets so they'd probably be okay with Mongrel.

Much appreciated.

Thanks for the comparisons. I find these size comparison pictures to be a great help.
