Fastarmour 3d printing. Any good?
« on: November 24, 2019, 05:04:09 PM »
Greetings all,

I came across fastarmour3dprinting.com

www.fastarmour3dprinting.com

They have a huge variety of WW2 3d resin printed vehicles and gun pieces. I was impressed by their German stuff, surprisingly cheap and of apparent good quality.

Has anyone come across them or bought from them? I looked and cant find any reviews for them online. Anyone know if they are reliable etc?

Thanks

I think I have brought from  him on ebay. He does deliver. I would look at the
pictures very carefully. I bought the Centurion Mk I and the T-95. The Centurion
Mk I has some accuracy issues. The T-95 did not have the inner set of tracks.
But that was my mistake, when I checked the picture on ebay, there were none.
Also check the description, I think only 1/144 scale and smaller are done on a
resin printer.
The models I bought were 1/72. I was very disappointed  with
the Centurion MK I. The T-95 could be a fair model with a lot
of work.

Thats helpful,thx.

I suppose thats the risk with these 3d printed products. I sort of wanted to get some cheap 28mm stuff for Bolt Action, mainly for the less useful or more obscure vehicles that I will probably rarely use, or for use as objectives or scenery in narrative games etc.

The quality seems iffy scaed to 1/56th. Though the prices are fairly low (I've no idea what EU shipping's like). If you're in the EU I'd say look at Paint and Glue Miniatures. Whilst they don't have as many prototype vehicles, their range is fairly decent (and if they don't have something contact the owner and they may have the file - just not uploaded to the site yet).
