Chernobyl Dairies, "Patients"?
«

All,
I was re-watching Chernobyl Diaries to get some terrain ideas. I got to wondering, what figures could be used to represent the patients. They are neither zombies nor grotesque mutations. They all seem to be bald.
Any ideas?

Not sure how comfortable you are with sculpting, Nick, but what about getting some bald heads and then sculpting body shaped lumps and covering them with some PVA soaked tissue so that it mostly looks like a patient under a blanket? You could buy a couple bare torsos if you wanted some partially uncovered.
Bald heads:
Bandaged heads:
You wouldn't need to be too accurate with the body making if you were just plopping them under a blanket. You could even make a couple dead ones by covering the whole thing.

I’ve never tried to sculpt minis, maybe I’ll give it a try.

Maybe these from the Lead Adventure PA range - filled out a bit?

Actually, those infected would be super easy to lay out on a bed. I'd do that. Some of the outfits even look a little "hospital gown" in nature.
