Cheers guys…..I don’t mind the trolls…..it makes for an interesting diversion, and they will look just as good shot and mounted on the walls as the rest of the game! 😉

Ha!  Thanks a lot fellas, glad you are liking them!

Unfortunately, most of the colourful ones are done…..but I will still have the fun of painting a giraffe and a few zebra yet, plus some of those lovely gazelle.   Funny enough, the elephant and rhino should be the easiest, but the bigger the model, the more phased I get! 🥴

Still on the animal list to paint / buy*

Giraffe
Elephant
Rhino
Warhogs
Lion
Lionesses and cubs*
Chimps
Hippo
Vultures
Cobra
Zebras*
Wildebeest*
Aardvark*
Meercats*
Gazelle*
Caracals*
Hunting Dogs*

So, a bit to get though yet!

I need to paint a few tribesmen though so I can start playing…hopefully they should turn up in the next two days…..

The sable antelope is a really handsome animal; consider it too. And African wild dogs make werewolves seem cuddly by contrast.

Cheers guys.

Ok, I just received a couple of packs of Bend Sinister feathered and masked Pygmies (perfect for my adventures - these will be the “Dikwityu” tribe), some with blow pipes and some with spears.  I realise they are out of production ( at least I believe that to be true) but does anyone know if there was ever a chieftain figure?

Cheers
I know I am a ways behind on this thread....
I have 2 or else 3 sets of these figures, they are wonderful lil fellas.  But alas no Chieftain or other such figures.  I have heard rumours that Bend Sinister may be coming back...hope so.

If by chief you mean the little guy centre picture….I have a spare of those (I didn’t realise when posting that original that that was him!).  Drop me a pm with your address.  If overseas, you would need to sort postage….

Cheers guys.  Sable antelope….yes stunning.   I went on a game drive from Shimba Hills specifically to see them, they were magnificent!

As for the wild dogs, I can believe it though as a kid I read “Solo” (Hugo van Lawick) and had a much more gentle impression of them!

Ok….what a cock up! Lol

I ordered some hairgrass (two lots tbh)….little realising there is hairgrass and HAIRGRASS!

Judging by my WIP pachyderm,  this would indeed be the MOTHER of all elephant grass were I to use it……me thinks not.

Back to e-bay….
