Thanks fellas.  Yup it was about time it got painted.

So to recap where I am for the pulp elements a few pics.  The scaffold will be a part of a set archeological dig once the parts arrive.   I have a few more Arabs to paint, and a few diggers.  Never done any Pulp gaming as such, but a copy of Osprey Pulp! Has landed on my mat, I will give it a read.

I am building scenery for wargaming in North Africa, and as I like to have multiple uses for it, much can be used for Pulp and indeed Congo.

There is some instruction on how these bits are made in my Luke Warm in Libya thread.

In particular, the Bedouin Tents here

I'm loving this stuff you're building: you should be able to get a great pulp game going with all this.

Cheers fella.

Well, first off I just nipped the sides off the two base plates on the the rope bridge so they will fit better onto various rock pieces and look a little more natural in place.

And what can be better than a scaffold piece…..well two scaffold pieces!

I can’t find enough rustic looking ladders so will have to add some dreaded mdf ones I suspect…..I don’t have the will power to make those! Lol

David, get a bit of wire mesh. the kind that has squares about 5mm.
Snip out your ladder length, taking care to snip the rungs at different
widths. Paint up & your rustic ladder(s) are ready

Cheers M’Lord!

Do you have an example of one please Pete?

Thanks Jim.

Meanwhile…second scaffold painted.   My Egyptian pieces are on order from Scotia G…..once they arrive, I will be able to put these to proper use.

And a quick easy piece, date plantation.  This could look handy with a couple of tents placed under the canopy.  I may have to get a few bell tents.

That palm grove must be a managed grove.  All planted in nice straight lines.... ;)

Indeed  large one close to where I lived in Oman.   Once I get a few buildings, it can be part of a farmed plantation.  It will also be necessary to build an irrigated crop field or two.

Now that I have finished my 'Build something competition' entry (Just e-mailed
the photo proof) with hours (just) to spare, the deadline is midnight tonight!!!!
I'll track down the mesh (somewhere in my mess  :D) & knock one off.
Hopefully tomorrow.
