If you're doing any more I'd definitely be interested in seeing some stage shots.

David, if you do, I'll lend you a herd of giraffes to practice on.
I'll have them back when you've painted them, of course.  lol lol lol

Knowing you you probably have a dozen!

If I get another I will post up but it’s pretty straight forward.  Cheers

Late to the party regarding the giraffes but spiffing for certain sure.  And what a size difference.

Been away to Eureka with a side trip to Manila and a jaunt to Samoa - actual real places, mind you, not fictional at all.  And all from Friday morning through Sunday evening.  Mind you, I'm a bit tired from all that traveling.

For my own 15 mm variations, I have the Irregular giraffes and then some of the Pendraken 10 mm giraffes that sort of match for size difference with Digits larger cousins.  Also found some smaller critters courtesy of Toob toys.

And you lot keeping laughing at dozens.  Just you wait - a while or three.

I love those acacias!

I tried something similar.  Mine still need to be painted and very lightly flocked:

Just put in order with Wargames foundry (using their 20% off Jubilee offer) and digging out other bits I already have ready for painting.

So a few bits coming up over the following weeks

African villagers / women / children
Zanzibaris
Congo Chieftains
Musket armed tribals
Camp Characters

Animals still to paint
Lion pride
A few zebras
Impala
Meerkats
Baboons
Another giraffe

And then…lots of scenery!  So, still a way to go.  I need to get a game in soon!

Oh, and I’m looking to take advantage of up coming Grand Manner resin only event to order myself some tribal buildings and a steam boat!

Yup, Grand Manner Resin only sale on at the moment, so I’ve ordered myself a Masai village set and a rear paddle steamer, along with a pair of stilted jungle huts / hooches that will work for Vietnam too plus a couple of small bits for my WW2 collection.

Foundry minis have arrived so I’m going to clean up the villagers for painting first me thinks….

A full month gone by with nothing new in this thread from Digits!   :o. I think I'm having withdrawals?  Of course, after some detective work, I find he is playing about with his Western Front stuff so he hasn't fallen in some strange volcanic crevasse, just being his normal hobby world peripatetic self.  That is a familiar phenomenon to so many of us.  ;)

I’ll have you know site that I resemble that remark! 🧐

However,  I am playing Congo hopefully Sunday which will no doubt rekindle my desire to paint more for this project.   I have about twenty villagers and more animals sat on my paint tray looking to get finished soon.  Fear not fella.

Still didn’t get in the damned game!

Oh well…..pushing on.

Decided I’m taking a break from painting WW2 minis for a bit (might change when 02 Hundred hours turns up), but in the meantime, I have a few civilians and a handful of animals on my paint tray.  Going to tackle som3 of them me thinks.
