Got a bit more progress on the Dominion miniatures. If I bought the thing I'm going to be using the minis damnit :D The hobgoblins have two daggers and grenades, but are like all modern GW models not kitbash friendly. I toyed with the idea of converting them to blade and shield to better fit in Oathmark, but in the end I decided to just paint them up as is. Quick and dirty paintjobs, some rust on the armour and they will do just fine as a unit of Goblin Soldiers in Oathmark.

What do you think?

Some more Dominion progress. I do really like these miniatures, but not sure that they fit in terribly well with my Dunland force.

Probably end up using this as a Knucker in game, a great swamp beast.

Looks a lot better than the garish GW catalog images, that's for sure.  The surprisingly wide variety of weird critter mounts in the swamp orc range (most of which aren't out yet, of course) are a big chunk of the appeal for me, combined with the generally more grungy overall aesthetic.  Still some cartoony stuff made worse by GW's hack paintwork, but your images really show how much it can be toned down with a better choice of colors.

The sculpt is a bit busy and over the top for my taste, the helmet in particular but your brushwork and color palette is spot on for my kind of thing. Nicely done mate!

Thanks everyone! I may very well grab one or two more of the beasties coming out for the swamp orcs, maybe try to make a riderless Knucker. Seems like GW has pried open my wallet again... oh well.
