Really impressive work!

Quick question, how does it scale up against the Oathmark figures?

Thanks everyone! Really happy with him myself, I set myself the challenge of not drybrushing any surfaces and using a very limited palette. In the end I think I only used six or seven tones on the whole mini, not counting the base.

Really impressive work!

Quick question, how does it scale up against the Oathmark figures?

He's a big boy, too big for Oathmark for sure. He comes on a 160mm round base, but I put him on a 130mm instead and he just about fits. I will probably use it for DnD (if things ever get to high level and in person...),Frostgrave and maybe SAGA Age of Magic.

Now THAT'S a dragon.

Amazing paintwork and great job covering up the Sigmarite emblem. That's truly a model which deserves Oathmark's somewhat bonkers dragon profiles.

Lovely  finish you've achieved . Wasn't even aware these dragons had the emblem on them. Let alone notice it'd been covered up.As I'd only given them half a glance on the GW thread.
I'm half tempted myself now. But a six inch diameter base is quite the storage issue for me( I think my biggest Dragon base is 2"-3" and that causes issues with It's tail and wings sticking out at odd angles from it.)

As my Christmas holiday is coming to a close, allow me to share a sneak peak on another quite large project in the works. I inted to make a decent amount of Rohan themed things this year, starting with expanding my collection of GW Rohan terrain. This long hall uses four of the Rohan house kits (though with lots of left overs, I can probably bash something with it all).

Since the walls in this kit are detailed on both sides, but only in order to give options for the outside facade, I will be going the Black Magic Craft (check him out on Youtube) way for interior terrain: the roof is glued down and I will eventually make a base from which the entire building can be lifted off to reveal a floor design.

Very nice! I saw a YouTube video (zorpazorp maybe) of some similar modifications to the Rohan buildings. I think yours looks very natural; the dormers are genius.

Bonkers. Love it. Is the plan to do a force for the actual MESBG, or more Rohan "inspired" for Oathmark, Saga etc?

That is an impressive and beautifully painted dragon. Love the subdued, more naturalistic colours. Especially the wings look leathery. I thought the GW dragons all had arm and neck armour, but I am glad they also have 'naked' ones. That longhouse looks very good, too. Will you add some interior detailing and furnishings?

Thank you! The plan is definitely Rohan-inspired. I don't think majority cavalry works in Oathmark, and I don't need a third human army for that system anyway, so the plan is to base them for SAGA. I have me eye on Horde for Age of Magic, and I am considering using them as Normans and possibly Spanish in AoV/AoC. I am waiting on Victrix norman cavalry and dark age archers, and plan to kitbash those with both Saxons and Vikings to create that Rohan vibe.

Thank you. Zorpazorp's video is indeed one of my main references for techniques and ideas. GW also made a video themselves including a long hall. I made my entrance a little different from theirs though.

Thank you! The plan is to have a floor, so I can lift the entire building off the table and reveal the interior floor. Probably keep it simple from there, maybe a firepit in the middle or something.

Now that's a hall worthy of a king.
