Pulper love the palette used on the miniatures. Very well done

Both of them are lovely pieces of work, but I had to choose one.

Oh nice! Where are the creepy fae types from?

Actually, where are the jagers from? I don't do 19th C stuff but some pulpy semi-ceremonial guards from an obscure Central European principality could be useful...

What a great round! Interesting contrasting styles. The technique on the spooky guys is very impressive, the shading looks extremely smooth and the weird glowing looks strange and unsettling. A lurid nightmare. The Jagers are great too, I really like the way they look smart and uniform from a distance and you can imagine respectable society looking on approvingly when they are on parade. Look a bit closer, though, and you can see they are hard, grim men, with characters ranging from "rough around the edges" to "downright villainous"!

Agreed.
Really like both of these. Such contrasting entries but both beautifully executed. A truly tough one to call  :)

Nice painting Pulper.   :)

North Star 1866 range.  Although I painted them correctly I was actually thinking VSF Prussians - but ran out of time to select and paint any suitable character types.

Pulper those are possibly the most eerily painted figures I have ever seen.  Absolutely lovely job on the tones and sahding

Those Jagers are brilliantly painted too and look ready for campaign
