Can you help? I am looking for some painting inspiration for basic shield patterns. If I have a preference it would be for post 1250.PS I already have both the main Ospreys.
Any particular country Martin?

I've already had one interesting reply over on ANCMED. I'd still like a few more now it's clear what I'm looking for.
I painted up a lot of Gripping Beast's Medieval Russians for their website but I was given LBMS shield transfers to use which I'm guessing, unless your a member of the higher nobility, would be far too fanciful.
Thanks for the pointer. There's a few designs I can simplify and paint on 15 mm shields. They also help with colour schemes.
