Let us hope that Horcata and 1898 are heralds of more interest in the TYW  :)

There are also the Avanpost Miniatures figures, which are very beautiful, although personally I'd be buying more of these if they were cast in metal. I find the resin figures just too fragile and brittle.

Thanks,

do you have a comparison of the height of the various figures?

Doesn't look like it's going to happen though : Avanpost honcho Oleg stated on his FB page that there are no plans to do the TYW in metal at the moment. Resin figures are indeed more suited for display and dioramas than the rough and tumble of the wargames table.

Michel: sadly you're right. I exchanged e-mails with Oleg a few days ago, and he confirmed that Avanpost has no current plans to bring out the TYW figures in metal. I've asked Avanpost to change its mind. My only suggestion is that  anyone else who would also like to see the range in metal should do the same. I'm afraid that I've managed to break a few figures just cleaning and assembling them. The last thing I want to do is put them on bases with metal figures and then have the resin figures break.
