Fixing a dullcoted clear stem
« on: March 29, 2020, 03:24:31 PM »
Instead of brushing on a coat of varnish like anyone with a brain would have done, I sprayed it on my eyebot for Fallout, which floats on a clear stem. Now instead of clear the stem smokey. Any way to fix this to make it clear again? I was thinking of brushing on a coat of gloss varnish as I heard this can undo the frost effect on minis.

Thanks for any advice.

I have had great luck with Future Floor Wax acrylic floor care, but when Pledge bought the company, they first changed the name, and now I don't know if it even exists anymore.

Luckily, I bought several bottles the last time I found it, so I should be set for years.

I have also had reasonable luck with a brush on gloss coat.
