How is your mom doing?  How are you feeling?  How is your family?

I hope y'all are doing alright.  All the best to you and your family.

Hi all!

My mom is at home now but her condition is pretty poor. I'll be staying with her for the duration.

 :(

So... after 9 painful weeks, I am finally back home. I won't go into all the details but it ranks up there with one of the worse periods of my life.

I will be kicking back a bit and have some stuff that needs to get done quite quickly, but hopefully soon I will be returning to the L'Orient and see if I can get her finished!

Unfortunately, no... but life goes on.

So, I'm back in Spain and the first thing that happens is that they have ordered all bars, cafes and restaurants closed. So I believe I have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire!

Yikes!  o_o But at least I'm home.

Very sorry to hear that Ray. But as you say, life must go on. Best wishes and condolences.

Thanks for the sentiments guys!

2020 has been a rough and challenging year so far. We just have to do the best we can.

At the moment I have a fairly heavy cold and so I'm welded to the sofa during the day to try to get over it. I have been able to do a bit of work on my ship (to keep from going crazy); finishing the standing rigging and the ratlines. Here is where she stands ATM:

I still have to put on the anchors and will see if I can fit the mid level ratlines on as well. After that... the sails.
