My inspiration is the illustration in the Osprey Campaign book on Tet 1968 on pages 78 and 79.
Wide tree lined street, high walls between gardens at the back of the houses, low open walls facing the street. Buildings have a mix of flat or pan tiled roofs
Due to my lack of skill, I am using Sarissa North Africa/Colonial buildings.
I have one of their triple size ones and another small one (for conversion to a shop).
I also have their secure compound.
I am thinking of using a couple of their North African compounds, the ruined Adobe house (modified to match the Colonial ones) and the Ambassador's Compound.
Now, if someone would do the decorative walls...
