Hello ...really beautiful subject and well painted minis ...
May I ask you please if those basmachi from, i suppose , 1915-18 period..could be used for earlier period? I have ordered some Turkoman cavalry from 1880’s conquest of Central Asia and I already have some Boxer rebellion Russian infantry and Cossack /Cavalry..any possibility, sufficiently historically accurate, to use the stuff that I already own with maybe some of those nice minis ..maybe any clashes for Russian Central Asia occured before the very period to which those Basmachi minis belong ?
Thanks

Hello
Costumes would be the same. These figures have bolt action rifles and the the pistols are machine pistols.  I think they will be fine for later 19th century.  They are multi part kits and softer white metal casts so could be easily altered if needed.

Hmm ... There were no significant clashes. But the Turkmen tribes were very militant and often raided their neighbors (including the territory of Persia). You can act out clashes between law enforcement forces with such a gang ...
The conversion of the figures will need to be small - only firearms will need to be brought in line (there should be earlier samples).
If you want to make a Turkmens, then immediately order figures with large Turkmen papakha.

The Turcoman heads you supply are excellent and really good value!

By the way, will you be selling the White Russian STP figures?  I can see you carry the Red figures.
