Hmmm.
Such a shame the Perrys didn’t do this. Looks like the initiative has been seized by another...
Nice painting as usual  :)
Be interesting to see what the kit’s like and how much is in it.

Interesting! I have a feeling some of those might find themselves in the Indian Mutiny.

5 figures per sprue, 40 men per box, £25
Nice sculpts with plenty of various heads full of character..and the Martini Henrys look better than the ones of my Brits  :o
Lots of options so you can get all swords or all rifles/ muskets.
They look sweet with AK47s as well actually (not included)

I've got a bunch of WW1/Interwar tropical Brits that have never had anyone to do a proper Jazz Age frontier squabble with, as I've never gotten around to budgetting for Empress's lovely Afghans.

These plastic chaps might do nicely, especially as I'm decidedly on the pulpier end of the skirmish gaming spectrum and exact historical accuracy isn't an absolute priority...

They look pretty good, yeah.  8)

If the Perry's had plans for plastic Afghans I don't think they would be put off by the release of these though, not that there is anything wrong with the sculpts, more just that the Perry's tend to do their own thing anyway.

All sword could make for quite a handy Sinbad skirmish group

On first impressions they look rather good!

I asked the Perry's about plastic Afghans and they said they had no plans for them, that was a couple of years back. They didn't rule out doing them sometime in the future, but with their Paraguayan War 1864-70 project just announced I'm expecting their focus to be on that for now.

These look like they could be a good alternative, especially if they fit in nicely size wise with the Perry metals.
