Ok here I go....been ages since I built anything...my Mortal Gods and Clash of Spears project needs scenery....the scattered remains of a Trireme on a beach will be my offering

Me too !

Will start sketching out the idea over the next few days....then the measuring will begin....then I’ll find I need more space than I’ve got...then it’ll be mk2 etc etc......aah....if nothing else I envisage the next couple of months as nothing less than....”interesting”

Cheers....and yes....am currently somewhere between rabbit in the headlights and Homer Simpson face palm....yesterday was research vs measuring vs realising the potential complexity...think I am going to hack up some foam board and make up simple blocks I can carve into rough shapes to get an idea of layout before actually building anything

Thanks...had researched enough before making the sketch to know that my mind may have imagined something a tad ambitious

....but although there are only a few lines on paper they helped me think through at least some of the build...by the time I get to making a foam board mock up I’ll have a better idea of how loud I might need to say “DOH !”
