Berserker solitary games as miniature based campaigns ?
« on: January 08, 2020, 02:07:48 PM »
As title said I was thinking in having a try with one of those solo board games maybe they could be a good basis  for a miniatures campaign..the titles dealing with colonial conflicts seem interesting
Did some of you already bought them?

Italwars,

Just read this post of yours from 2+ months ago, clicked over to the company's website and read about the game and like you I was intrigued.  Searched around for more info and found this one review/game report on "THE KHYBER ABLAZE" by a solo boardgamer who bought and played it and enjoyed it.  Sounds like it might be worth buying to use as an engine to generate an entire campaign worth of tabletop games.  Sounds like it's pretty simple, but for use as a campaign system that might be a good thing.

Here's a LINK to the report, which was first posted back in 2015:

PS. If you've already tracked this report down, maybe it can be of use to some fellow NWF/Second Afghan War gamers.  The same company has a North Africa FFL game that I will also try to learn more about at some point.
