Eureka Pond Wars
« on: January 13, 2020, 08:58:21 PM »
Hi all

I'd really love to pick up some of these fantastic frog miniatures,  I just need to have an idea of their size.

Has anyone got any of these that they can post pics of next to other minis like orcs etc, please?

Thanks alot

Next to Eureka Maori (the Maori are on Games Workshop 1" round bases):

Next to Perry Miniatures' Samurai (the frogs are on Games Workshop's 1" square bases):

OUTSTANDING! The Frog Folk painted up WONDERFULLY. VERY WELL DONE!
They would look good taking on the Flower of French Chivalry.

Those are nicely sized, didn't think they were quite that big.

The frogs are wonderful! Are there some turtles in the background of the first picture? How does the turtles compare to the frogs?

Thanks guys. The Maori and second set of frogs are mine. The first set of frogs were painted by Kosta the miniature sculptor (https://www.instagram.com/kosta_heristanidis/).

I can't remember if he fielded Pond Wars turtles or terrapins. The turtles are roughly the same size as the frogs, while the terrapin are smaller (22mm-ish?). I don't have any, nor can I find a comparison photo.

Found this online that compares the turtles and terrapins (not my work):

I love the Eureka Pond Wars minis.  They are so delightfully whimsical and full of character.

Lucid Eye's Toons may be compatible, they're adorable in the same way.

At some point, when I work down my massive lead pile, I'd like to make some Pond Wars minis, too.

Please show us what you come up with!

Do any Pond Wars rules exist?

Are frogs and turtles allies or rivals?
