Tas's Outremer
« on: November 29, 2019, 10:27:48 PM »
Forgot to post some updates from earlier this year, being some Crusading modelling. I am initially focused on using Osprey's Outremer rules which are great fun, and with a view to expanding via slow grow to play Fireforge's Burn and Loot.

Anyway, I started by building a modest Templar band:

Built a Renedra mud hut - Tutorial here: http://tasmancave.blogspot.com/2019/05/building-mud-hut.html

And got into some action against a mate's Saracens

Next up, building a Frankish Warband

Really nice, both minis and building. I have been wanting to start with a modest Outremer project for months, but never find the right moment, so seeing other people's work is inspirational :)

Thanks indeed - looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Looks great, as people said before me. Both the miniatures and the terrain.  :)

Loving your work mate. And nice scenery too! How’s your Outremer Warband doing?

I've moved house and cities over the Christmas period - now trying to find some new opponents to get interested in the game. I have a few leads :-)
