Ancient Elephants
« on: September 12, 2021, 11:26:01 AM »
I discovered these venerable old elephants. I wonder can anyone identify the manufacturer?

These figures are now surplus to requirements and I was looking to sell them. If anyone is interested please pm with any sensible offers. I was looking at £35 ONO

I do not recognize them. The paint overwhelms the details and poses. Are these even 25mm?
I can only think MInifigs.

These are the Hinchliffe ones I have:

If they are Minifigs, there are no details to overwhelm :)

That is a cruel and unusual thing to say. True maybe, but it is difficult to put down those old gems from the last century. Plus their ranges were so vast if uniposed. I still use my Minifigs as levies and others that don't need to get too close to today's giant miniatures.

Oh, I still have quite a few Minifigs in use in both ancient and Napoleonic armies. But detailed they are not!
