'One Hour Skirmish'...
« on: February 29, 2020, 03:03:19 PM »
Kind of brother chip to 'One Hour Wargames' is this tome, but no dice everything's  sorted with a standard deck of cards. The big downside, in my 'umble opinion is, there's no dedicated section for Ancient/Medieval tonking matches.
To shoot somebody is a card turnover, the target having to draw higher or get nobbled. If the target's in soft cover (old skool that, innit?  ;))  he gets to turn two cards, in hard cover three.
So, applying the KISS Principle for Ancient/Medieval HtoH to ward off a blow from a sharp pointy thing...
skirmisher chappy with no armour, one card. A scabby ranker with jerkin and shield two cards. His Lordship togged up like a Terminator, three cards.
I shall field test this amazing revelation and then scribe a Chronicle.
