Still in service in places: if you want to put 100mm holes in moderately hard things a reasonable distance away it still does the job.

Something that size could give its crew ruptures just changing facing, let alone trying to manhandle it anywhere other than where the tow dropped it :)

Which is why many of its successors, bigger and smaller, incorporated a castoring wheel or wheels on the trails.

It's strange working in the blank space of the CAD environment you get an impression of scale but in this case it was completely off!  In my head it was pak40 sized for some reason.  I was a bit surprised at the actual size of it!!
