.....and so the loud mouth NCO is the only painted figure remaining. The rest of the Artizan squad are as naked and shiny as the day they were cast.

Hopefully I'll develop a method for the Sumpfmuster this time around that I'll be happy with. Pretty much got my colour palette sorted, but I need to refine the application of the camo' pattern, and I think go with the principle that less is more.

I know I can do better than this (well I think I can)

Cheers for the comments and for the links - both very useful.

Today's attempt is better than the previous go, but is still not good enough. I need to work on the scaling and shape of the "zig-zag" effects. Straight lines and sharp angles are what I think is needed, with the scale of the camo' scheme less important provide the proportions of each colour are correct.

So we'll call this figure done, and he is the baseline from which I want to make improvements with both the camo scheme, but also the overall painting of the figure on the rest of the squad.
