New Japanese infantry 1900-1930
« on: January 31, 2020, 04:22:42 PM »
We have just got the first stock of these Japanese infantry figures, made for the Boxer rebellion but suitable for the war against Russia and the early invasion of China a bit later. The uniform did not change much but near the end of the period went from dark blue to Khaki in colour.
First pack is four infantry each in a different pose, second 4 but all with fixed bayonet in a single pose, third the officer.

Good for the Boxer Rebellion and  RJW but suggesting  1900 - 1930S is really stretching it. They aren’t really suitable for Tsingtao, the Japanese intervention in the RCW or anything beyond. Uniforms had changed dramatically by then.

Would they be appropriate for the occupation of Taiwan and Korea?

My thoughts exactly!
