Thanks!

I'm planning on writing up AARs of the first 3 missions of the current Old World campaign soon (I have pictures of them all) so look out for those in the near future.

New blog post with a little sort-of AAR of a game of Castle Ravenloft. Not strictly Warhammer or even a miniatures wargame. But it's got miniatures and I want to show off the Dwarven Forge tiles I've painted so I'm counting it!

I've been a bit lax with my blog posts unfortunately (I blame COVID-19 - working from home has made me want to spend my spare time away from my PC!), but Grumpy Gnome's blog posts have inspired me out of my torpor!

Mission 4 AAR is already on the blog, but I realised I should probably do a write-up of Missions 1-3 as well. I'd previously written mini-reports on various Facebook groups but it's not really the same as writing a proper one on my blog, so I thought I'd revisit the old photos and see what I can piece together and remember the narrative of the battle.

Here's Mission 1:

Torpor begone!

Great idea to summarize things together here.

Facebook be gone!

As always your stuff looks great mate. You continue to inspire me.

 I have spoken.

Thanks for the nice comments! It's always good to hear that someone enjoys this waffle I'm spewing out.

Mission 2 AAR is up, and it's extra waffley! Got carried away with the narrative a bit in this writeup.

Thanks! I'll be doing another little AAR soon, but in the meantime here's a little painting post:

I also do a mini-review of Lukes APS as I got some Empire miniatures commission painted.

Nice to read a review of commission painter from someone I trust. And I am glad he did a good job for you! I can see the advantage of getting some commission work done but I am too chea... er... thrifty. I hope some of the bits I sent over come in handy at some point!

Wrote up a little battle report of my burgeoning Empire army's first game. Not as much narrative as I'm going for with the main campaign, but it was only a quick 50 minute game so I wasn't paying too much attention to world-building (the board's quite lacking in detail compared to most of my setups - I wanted it to just be a quick evening game).

Check it out here:
