How do these figures compare to other 28mm figures.
They are closer to true scale than heroic and they are a little taller than Hassle Free and Artizan, maybe as tall as Pulp Figures but thinner.

They are just about perfect except the faces are hard to paint because they are not exaggerated in size.

These are fantastic minis.  :-)

Interesting looking game mechanics, very short and bloody game though.

Mine arrived finally in Western Australia, slow boat from Poland. Marvellous figures. very colourful package, now to kick back with the rules and worked out how to play.
Cheers,

Mine did arrive two or three weeks back, and they are indeed lovely.  Now that the spring term is over, I may have an opportunity to start painting again.

My 25 yrs. old twin son and daughter had a run-through (pardon the pun) last weekend with the first scenario, and we will be taking another stab at the game (sorry, couldn't help myself) this Sunday.  Good game mechanics, great fun.

There's a YouTube on the first scenario by the rule author, explains it in depth step-by-step

Last weekend we did another two games, a replay of the first scenario (with me taking the Poles and my 25 yrs. old son taking the French); and my son and daughter playing the second scenario.  It looked like I was going to win the first scenario (having dispatched/driven off all but one of the French for a loss of two of my Poles) when, with only 1 alarm token left to the game, my son had Aramis take a leap off the table and land upon and pick up the purloined letter just as the game ended.  Great fun.
